Couch to 5k - Running news

The running club has now completed the 9 week program and we are now 5k graduates! We are continuing to meet 3 times a week and run, following a post "couch to 5k" set of podcasts and really enjoying it. Anyone interesting in doing is more than welcome. We have now almost completed week 7 of the running program. We started off running 1 minute runs interrupted by 1 and a half minute walks and have now managed to our amazement to run for a straight 25 minutes, and we're hoping to increase that to a full half hour of running in the next couple of weeks, which is approximately 5 km.
There are four of us in the group at this stage and we are hoping for more people to join. We all run at different paces but we start off together and end the workout half an hour later with a common stretching session. I think anyone who would like to join the program as long as they're willing to be consistent, could catch up with us in a very short while. All one would need is a smartphone and the relevant app.(c25k or equivalent)
We run 3 times a week on Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays in the morning and we normally run on the bicycle road between Stoupa and Agios Nikolaos though we have considered the idea of changing the itinerary.

UPDATE We are 'up and running'
. So far 5 of us are meeting on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays - 8:20am at the cultural centre Eleni (29-4-15).
If anyone is still interested ,there is time to join still as we are at very early stages. would you like to become part of a beginners running group to meet 3 times weekly for 40 minutes with the aim of doing 0 to 5k in 8 weeks? the idea is to follow a walk/ run program that gradually takes you from couch to running a straight 30 minutes.
